            The rock and roll era pushed the boundaries of music, but it was the artists themselves who revolutionized the way songs are played today. Whether by developing a new style or doing things against the norm, several artists changed the way music was played forever. Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Chuck Berry, the Rolling Stones and the Beatles all created a new element to music and created their own pop culture. By painting their own picture of what they thought music was, these five truly were artists in their own right.
